Nate Colson – Garden Missions, WI

Garden Missions is a spirt led missions network doing work in Zambia, Botswana, and Wisconsin! It was founded by Nate Colson from Kenosha, Wisconsin. Garden Missions has a passion to bring the presence of Jesus into cities, regions, and nations; while meeting the needs of those in the local communities. Garden Missions currently runs an elementary school outside of Lusaka, Zambia with 160 kids that are getting taught and fed daily. There are also sewing classes, evangelism,  Bible studies, various training classes, feeding programs, and other Missions programs running on the Zambia Base. In Botswana, Garden Missions has a base in the remote Northern Okavango region, which is one of the most poor and under developed areas of Botswana.  In the Okavango, there are four villages visited on a consistent basis. In each village we operate a church service and the people get a meal and prayed for consistently. The team also does ministry in the two local schools, the police station, the clinic, and preach in the local church. Evangelism and feeding programs are a big part of the ministry in the Okavango. In Wisconsin the Garden Missions team operates a food pantry that serves 1000 people a month on average. There is also nursing home ministry, street evangelism, Bible studies, and other ministries that take place at the Wisconsin base.
